Legislation & Regulations
The Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority Act, 2021, outlines HSCPOA’s structure for organizational governance and accountability, committees, registration, the public register, complaint resolution, and discipline and appeals.
Under this legislation there are several regulations that HSCPOA must follow to carry out its work to provide effective oversight of registrants. Once HSCPOA begins registering PSWs on December 1, 2024, registrants should be aware of these regulations as they apply to their work.
