PSW Education Programs not Recognized by HSCPOA

HSCPOA does NOT recognize the following schools in Canada as legitimate PSW education programs. Our analysis shows overall PSW education program credibility issues.

Applicants who completed PSW education within these schools not recognized as acceptable, may only apply to HSCPOA through the ‘work experience only’ option under  Path 2: Employed as a PSW in Ontario. Path 2 requires a PSW’s employer to verify employment and confirm that the employee has a set of skills expected of a PSW. Note: Path 2 will close on December 1, 2027.
